Community Resources

The Project of the Quad Cities

The Project of the Quad Cities, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, envisions a future where HIV/STI/AIDS are no longer stigmatized and everyone living with, affected by, or at risk of contracting HIV/STI/AIDS has the support they need to succeed.

They provide health management, coordinated care services, and advocacy to those impacted by HIV/STI/AIDS and other related conditions.

TPQC is the only HIV/STI/AIDS service organization in a 60 mile radius of the Quad Cities. They have offices in Davenport and two in Moline. They serve approximately 300 clients, many of which live 200% below the poverty level.

Mission

"Supporting successful lives to build strong communities."

  Vision

A safe, healthy, and inclusive community

 Values

Safety We create safety, both physical and emotional, for clients, employees, and community partners. When individuals feel safe, they can succeed.

Integrity We are honest and do what is right.

Trauma Informed Care We recognize trauma is widespread, and therefore we operate under a strengths based framework that is grounded in an understanding of adverse life experiences that individuals encounter. We promote a culture of safety, empowerment, and healing.

Partnership To achieve incredible outcomes and community success, we collaborate.

Dignity and Respect All individuals are valued, respected, and empowered. We foster an environment that honors each person’s lived experiences and ensures that everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Embracing differences strengthens our organization and community.

They provide services to families and children involved in foster care, young adults who were in the foster system, families with children who are experiencing emotional and behavioral health issues, individuals with mental health issues, and survivors of physical and sexual abuse.

Members of the LGBTQ+ community experiencing life's challenges can feel safe going to Family Resources for help.
